While we endeavour to ensure all bookings run smoothly, there will unfortunately be cases when a guest has to cancel their reservation. We ask that all customers review the following cancellation policies and act accordingly. It is the policy of the Redesdale Arms Limited to follow the terms below;
In the event of a cancellation after 12 noon on the day prior to arrival, it is our policy to charge the full quoted room rate for bookings of less than 3 rooms.
Group & Corporate Bookings
Group reservations consisting of three or more rooms will be charged the full rate quoted for each room's first night, should cancellation occur within five working days prior to arrival. Although minor alterations may fall into Individual Reservation policy.
Any reservations where the guest does not arrive at all will be chargeable in full. Should the guest be un-contactable and their reservation is for multiple nights, the room will continue to be held and will again be chargeable in full. After two nights when the guest has been un-contactable, the Hotel reserves the right to resell the room. However, if unsold the room will remain chargeable for the duration of the stay.
Cancellation Due to Medical or Weather Conditions
In the event you are unable to arrive on the date reserved due to medical or weather conditions, these same policies will apply so long as the Hotel remains able to accommodate your reservation.
We do suggest that you take out travel insurance to prevent you from becoming personally liable for any cancellation fees due to cancelling outside of these terms.
Some periods such as Cheltenham Gold Cup Week, New Year & Christmas have specific cancellation policies which will be laid out on your booking confirmation. These bookings will be subject to those cancellation policies.
