Moreton-in-Marsh is on the crossing of the A429 that runs between Junction 17 (Malmesbury) of the M4 motorway to the south and Junction 15 of the M40 motorway (Warwick) to the north, and the A44 running between Junction 7 of the M5 motorway, which then links with the A40 just before Junction 8a of the M40 motorway. The map below shows an overview of Moreton-in-Marsh with the A44 and A429 marking the four main possible ways you could enter Moreton, use it and the form to enter your address, from which it will then generate directions as well as an estimated journey time.
Information on Car Parking
The parking on the High Street is free of charge, however, there is a 2 hour limit for the marked spaces along the centre of town.
The Hotel has private parking for guests in the grounds at the rear of the building, accessible via Hospital Road. Please note that there are two sections to the car park which are both part of the Hotel property. This means that you are welcome to park in either. The first is a set of parallel bays to the right in front of the Redesdale Mews Block. However, several bays are marked reserved and we ask residents not to use these spaces.
Should you use GPS or Google Maps for directions to us, using our postcode of GL560AW will get accurate directions to the front of the Hotel, or for the car park use the postcode GL560BQ. ('0' being Zero rather than the letter 'O' for both).
When entering the Hotel car park please be aware that the Redesdale Arms Ltd holds no responsibility for the safety of your car or possessions left in cars and doing such is at your own risk. We also ask that residents park responsibly in the clearly marked spaces, observe a strict 5mph speed limit and proceed with caution for pedestrians.
